It is AMTRAN's policy that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) shall have the maximum feasible opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with Authority funds. The Authority and its employees shall not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, or disability in the award and performance of Authority contracts.

Altoona Metro Transit (AMTRAN) – DBE PUBLIC NOTICE FY 2023, 2024 and 2025 THREE-YEAR DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL FOR ALTOONA METRO TRANSIT (AMTRAN) AUTHORITY
Altoona Metro Transit (AMTRAN) is proposing a 0.29% DBE goal for FY 2023, 2024 and 2025. This is required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for Department of Transportation assisted contracts pursuant to Federal Regulations 49 CFR, Part 26 to be submitted by August 1, 2022. The proposed goal and its rationale are available for review during normal business hours, for 30 calendar days following the date of notice by contacting Josh Baker, CEO, AMTRAN, 3301 Fifth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602, (814) 944-4074. The purpose of this notice is to afford certified DBEs, general contractor groups, minorities, and woman’s organizations an opportunity to participate and comment on the draft FFY-2023 to FFY-2025 DBE Goal. Written comments on the goals will be accepted for 45 calendar days after publication of this notice.
